I get a lot of guys who ask me for dating advice on where to go on first date. The mistake guys make on the first date is to bring a woman to a fancy restaurant and buy her expensive gifts. Unfortunately this does nothing to build attraction. Instead it creates too much pressure and makes her feel uncomfortable.

So, instead of blowing tons of money on your first date and creating an uncomfortable situation, you should focus on thinking where to go on first date that can make memorable and fun both of you. What you want to do is think of an activity that will allow you to establish an emotional and physical connection. The following are three general places and activities you can do on your first date:
1. Coffee Shop
A Coffee shop is still very effective place for getting to know a woman in a low key environment. At here, you are able to converse in a casual manner without the pressure of facing each other from across a restaurant table. The best part when meeting for drinks or coffee is that you are within a distance to establish physical contact. This means you are able to flirt and emphasize different things during your conversation which helps to build attraction
2. Funky, Eclectic Neighborhoods and Shops
These are places full of wacky and fun items. It will give you an ongoing, changing set of things to talk about. When you go to these types of places, you can just have fun and talk. And the best part is that you do not have to buy anything!
3. Go for ACTION dates
What I meant here is the dates with a lot of activity like playing games together (pool hall, miniature golf, the boardwalk, a video arcade). There are reasons for this. When we doing something together during a date, subconsciously we feel we have spent a lot more time with the other person, hence building familiarity and comfort. This also has the benefit of making the date more fun and interesting.
Lastly, you have to remember when going to place on a first date; you must avoid the usual dating scenes like cinemas, clubs and bars. Why? Cause it is BORING place and it will make you just same as the average guys! All three places above are a great way stand out from other guys. They can be fun without feeling the pressures of the job interviewtype dates. Just remember to keep things low key and fun. GOOD LUCK!
